Both packages provide the same PDF viewing and markup tools. Choose the Windows installer for an integrated everyday setup, or Portable when you want a lightweight workflow without installation.

How to use it

  1. Download the ZIP.
  2. Extract all files.
  3. Run the included DrawingDesk installer.
  4. Follow the Windows installation prompts.

Portable Version

Ideal for temporary use, restricted workstations, or a removable drive.

  • Normally needs no administrator rights because no installer is used.
  • Leaves file associations, the Start menu, and the installed-apps list unchanged.
  • Does not run at startup; launch it only when you need it.
  • Easy to remove by closing DrawingDesk and deleting its extracted folder.

How to use it

  1. Download the ZIP.
  2. Extract all files to a normal writable folder.
  3. Run DrawingDesk from the extracted folder.
  4. Do not run DrawingDesk directly from inside the ZIP.
